Remove obvious AI markers from your pitches and cut em dashes entirely. Phrases like "I hope this finds you well" or overly stiff paragraph structure are instant giveaways. Write the way you actually talk. You can absolutely use AI to help craft your pitch but take the time to prime it first. Feed it examples of how you write, tell it your tone, and give it context about your audience. The goal is for AI to sound like you, not for you to sound like AI. Your personality is what gets you the deal.
